what heat wrap to use?
will be getting my new downpipe this week and want to heatwrap it in readiness to go on. Whats the best wrap to use and how much is needed for a 3" open neck downpipe? Also any wrapping tips?

Harvey Smith sorted mine Rob as well as providing a turbo blanket to reduce the temp under the bonnet (which was a surprise once I got the 18G fitted).
Cost of both was reasonable but he did all the labour so no tips I'm afraid.

I've just wrapped mine in Cooltek (search google) bought a 20m x 50mm roll, have got loads left and I did the whole 3 inch pipe,
also got some cable ties and some heat spray for the wrap, cost of the wrap and ties was £50 spray was £15.
Easier to wrap than I thought it would be, took about 20 min.
