Default Plugs unplugged!!!????? techie help please.

Where the green and black plugs are for the self diag and resets are, (drivers footwell) as you lay on your back looking up (my93 wagon wrx) there is i assume the oem diag plug in box, it has three black connector plugs in the rhs as you look up at it, but the lower two of them are unplugged and must have been since i bought it, the top one is still plugged in, when i plug the other two in cel is permanently on!. We did a full reset and diag test, it threw up 45-pressure exchnge solenoid valve, 24-Idle air control solenoid valve, and finally 31-throttle position sensor, the car runs well no real probs there.
Any help on all of these points would be greatly appreciated, should i plug those two connectors back in? should they be plugged in? I have unplugged them for now, is this ok?
Also since i have had the car it occasionally throws up a cel, (with those black plugs unplugged) and it goes out as soon as i take the revs below 1000rpm, and wont come back for a while, what could this be??

both sets of wires should be unplugged for normal use, Black and green. They should only be connected for diagnostics and ecu reset. Do a search on how to find fault codes using the wires and that should give you cel problem code.

Don't know if this will help or not. I had similar problems. There were two sets of black connecters. One set were for the 'door open alarm' and the other for the ECU reset.
