Default juddering in 6th gear

does anyone have any ideas on the problem on the car juddering in 6th gear at around 80 mph when accelerating and the boost gauge vibrating. i have had the boost control solinoid valve replaced and this seemed to work for a few days until it happened again, any ideas

Are you running an after market dump valve?

Some of these cause that very problem under light acceleration in 5th and 6th.

Check the boost control pipes again, if they are contaminated with oil (the oil plays havoc with the solenoid adequately controlling the boost) then squirting through some brake cleaner helps. But if this is the case then it would then suggest your car has been overfilled with oil as it is managing to get into your boost control pipework.

Just a thought might not be your problem.

I also have a Forge VTA dump valve and in certain situations in using the throttle it can be very lumpy/hesitant. I just avoid high gears and giving it some throttle as it does not like that while being below 3,000rpm.

In general forge are pretty good. If you still have it try putting the standard one back on and take the car for a run and see if it still occurs.

This will probably be one of those trial and error issues. My money is on this however.
