Default Walbro Fuel Pump any good?

Saw this and most places are £90...

Is this OK for my 98 turbo?

eBay.co.uk: WALBRO FUEL PUMP 92-99 SUBARU IMPREZA 255LPH (item 180074551875 end time 12-Feb-07 17:43:37 GMT)

Cheers

Yes , that will be fine & at a V good price, I have just fitted one to my 3rd Subaru a 1998 also, Use your Original Fuel Sock as the Walbro ones are smaller & can give fuel surge issues with a near empty tank.

The body of the pump should be stamped with the WALBRO logo, the pt.no, and various other info. For some reason this isn't, and it is normally on the side shown.

Now it could be on the other side, but I would have thought a seller would want to show it's an original Walbro, and not a cheap Far East copy ?

I would suggest you check first, because there are some very iffy copies out there.

As for the price, well £50.00 + £15 for shipping, + duty @ 3%, and VAT if it gets stopped, and you're up to about £80.00. Oh, and if Parcel Farce get it, they charge about £10-13 for handling !

Or, you could see what they're available for in the Scoobyshop

BB, the quotation provided today was for such parts supplied by Mocom Racing, sourcing parts elsewhere would require a requote.

Did you consider £85 (including VAT and fitting) to be too much of an expense?
