just a techy question but what are the advantages of running these over the 2 port one, i have 320bhp and 313lbs and i want one last remap are these worth investing in, i have a uk 97 running apexi ecu and a dawes if that makes a difference

better boost control when you get up around 1.3bar, compared to the 2-port.

Isn't the dawes taking over the boost control here ? If so then it won't make any difference what solenoid you fit. I expect your mapper will advise to do away with the dawes though, and allow the ecu to control the boost using whatever solenoid. I would suggest speaking to the mapper and taking their advice.

A dawes device bypasses the solenoid, i run one at the mo, but when i have my remap the dawes will no longer be used.

AndyF told me to fit a 3 port, cost me £50 off For Sale on here new.

My engine runs 1.6 bar and the reason Andy gave was better boost control.

Good enough for me.
