For a MY99 UK Turbo. Will any do, or does it have to be specific?

Any good ethylene-glycol based brand should do, not to strong not too weak Halfords do a nice pink one

 

i thought it was blue coolant with corrosion inhibiting agents to be used as it prevents corrosion in cars with alloy crank cases as on the subaru engines not sure that the pink and yellow do the same.

 

i used some vauxhall stuff 2years ago, all still seems fine and its cheap and has a 5 year gaurentee nearly all modern antifreeze has rust / corrosion inhibitor.

 

was not sure what to use in my 94 uk wagon so phoned around the motor factors to see what the anti-freeze catalogues said and i was told to use green 3yr protection one , was gonna use the pink vag one but was told not to for some reason .

 

'pink vag'! Is there any other colour?
