hi, l have a 04 sti ppp and have just noticed when l change gear every now and then the rev,s rise slightly after l have just put the clutch down, l can get it to do it every time if between 1700-2000 revs if lam accelerating then drop the clutch at this speed the rev needle will go up about 4 thickness of the rev needle and then drop(to do this lam in 5th gear which l know is too higher a gear but it will do it every time this way) can you help, l have asked a scooby garage and they have not got a idea, many thanks :

lv have only noticed it doing it when hot, l will test and see if its there when cold
