Hi guys, would anyone be able to shed some light on a problem i have?

I'v justed fitted an sti8 intercooler to my m/y94 sti, all is well apsrt from it idles at 2000rpm, i'v had to turn the idle control valve round to slow it to 1500rpm. Is there anything i might of done to cause this? I'v had the thottle body off and the idle control valve, but both went back same as they came off.

I'd be most gratefull for any help.

most obvious would be an air leak or maybe you have altered the idel valve in some way??
