Panel Filter - Very Strange Boost ?
Hi All,
Quick question i have just changed my panel filter on my 04 WRX. I Swapped a very dirty OE one (Feathers etc and loads of grime) for a new JR panel filter.
Since then im sure something isnt quite correct with the car. The car does seem very smooth but..
It seems to boost a little until like 5k REVS and then a definite increase in boost (No Gauge) until i change at 6K.
Am i being paranoid or is this just how it is since i changed a very dirty filter to a performance one ? First time i changed the filter since adding an H&S backbox ?
Cheers
Dom

All pipes look fine. No idea what is going on. I seem to get part boost for a bit , then a bit more, then a bit more , then at 5K Revs it stops. All seems very strange as it does seem to pull well - 3rd gear seems to go on for ages.
