Default td05 rebuild kits

If I got a TD05 with a 90degree inlet, would this kit be all that is required to rebuild it to front entry: eBay.co.uk: 2.25" Turbocharger compressor housing + TD05 18G wheel (item 320037767977 end time 10-Feb-07 00:26:35 GMT)

Also, would this turbo fit a 03 WRX, or is the mitsubishi lancer TD05 different? eBay.co.uk: TD05 Turbo Charger Supports 380 hp and delivers 550 CFM (item 230079243926 end time 23-Jan-07 04:23:30 GMT)

Well the chap I took this kit to said he would need to have the turbo rebalanced if he used that kit which would have cost as much as the 150 quid I paid for the TD05 at the time, needless to say I just stuck the second hand TD05 in and hoped it would be ok. 7k miles on so far so good.

Yes this kit would make it front entry and also make it an 18g. You would also need to service the turbo by replacing the bearings and seals while you were converting it.

The mitsubishi lancer turbo won't work as it spins the opposite way to the subaru TD05 and also the exhaust flange is different.

BTW you won't need to get the TDO5 balanced once built. I'm sure others would agree!
