Default advice please

hello, my 95 ra began to slightly missfire/hesitate yesterday after driving ity home from work today it had got considerably worse and now coughs and splurts until revs are picked up, there is no cel on but there is 3 codes stored in the ecm code 21, 22, 24 knock sensor, temp sensor, and iacv temp senor is now sorted, my question is will any of these faults cause this concern, i cant see how iacv will cause this but maybe knock sensor adjusting timing im not sure need advice from a scooby expert

cheers matt

reset the ecu and see if one or all of them reoccur..

what were you doing when it misfired? full throttle on boost?

have you replaced the coilpacks on it before? most common problem on the earlier phase 1 car.

I'd check the most simple cause first like spark plugs - how old are they? Are they worn/gap set right. Misfires can be easily caused by bad plugs. Then look at coil packs etc.

yer ive done coil packs before but this is a very heavy misfire and it does'nt do it on idle almost feels like timing is out, it happens at normal driving conditions up to about 2500 revs until boost picks up then its fine i will try the reset to see if the codes reapear what are symptoms for maf
