Engine conversion
My engine on the scooby has just packed up and i am thinking of buying a brand new block. I have been recomended to get the block from Teg Sport but if i can find cheaper than there prices then thats all good. I was also thinking about maybe converting it to a 2.5 BUT is there alot more to it than changing the block?
I have done engines on other makes and models in the past but never a scooby and want to do it right. Basically is there alot more work and money involved conveting from 2.0 to 2.5? or should i stick to another 2.0?

Not really a big price difference. My brother had his 2.5 built by Zen for a very reasonable price. I'm building a strengthened 2.0 on mine and the difference in price is minimal.
It is not as difficult as you would have thought. As subaru produce a 2.5 engine, its near enough a straight swap
See below for what is involved and an example cost Zen Performance - Engine Builds
