inlet manifold
There was a thread about this a short while ago if you a do a search. Also I think it's discussed in here

You can get a recon (exchange) one already painted as new in correct paint - think it's 100quid IIRC I'll dig out the website if you are interested.

Heres a good thread on the re-furbing of the manifold.

I recently did a thread on this when I had to replace my turbo inlet pipe. In brief, don't do it unless you're killing a few birds with one stone - e.g. changing injectors, fitting manifold spacers, fiddling with breather plumbing, pulling out sensors, most importantly changing the turbo inlet pipe.
It's not super difficult, just time consuming, fiddly and potential to go pretty wrong if you don't take a lot of care over the job. I'm planning to do it all a second time later this year, and I'm not worried about it now, I'd plan on a day to get it out and back on again, but the first time took me a few evenings for sure.
