Default induction kits

whats the best induction kit for a 2000 year impreza i herd there is probems with the maf i have a KN pannel filter at the moment i am going to the auto sports show birmingham on saturday i am going to have a look there

have had problems with induction kits and maf so i have gone back to a performance panel filter (green cotton) yes you do loose wastegate flutter but you dont have to replace a maf sensor at £108 a go.
thats just my opinion

apexi kit on mine, its a dry filter, so no worry about oil getting onto the maf sensor

i have prodrive pack if i get a induction kit will it need a remap or will it be ok

Until you get into 'big' power I don't think an induction kit will offer you much other than extra noise. From what I understand an uprated panel will be able to supply air fine up to around 350-ish. You will probably gain nothing at all performance wise without a remap anyway. I don't believe a K&N panel will cause your maf any problems assuming you've not cleaned and over-oiled it.
