Can be difficult, you need to remove the downpipe to get to the up-pipe nuts, , and then if not the turbo, then a big chunk of the headers, depend what you find when you get there.....

I fitted an up pipe
I fitted a new up pipe recently it wasnt that bad, I took the downpipe nuts and bolts off and just pryed it back enough to get to the up pipe nuts then I undid where it bolts it to the manifold, took the engine mount nuts off and jacked the engine up so I could jiggle the pipe out.
hope this helps

Anything is possible....When the word exhaust is used i like to have WD40 and a cutter grinder to hand.....infact where the words steel and bolt are concerned i like to have the above mentioned........you could end up wrecking your knuckles and swearing profusley for the sake of 40 quid from b&q. most of the top of the engine is fine....but funnily the scoobs have a "chimney from the intercooler intake on to the turbo.....gets a bit rusty there.
