Default Estimates/guess my power after mods

Right having my gearbox built very soon, so when i goes it for fitment i might as well have my other mods fitted.

In total there will be (on 02WRX)

Uprated fuel pump
TD05 16g
Ported headers
STI8 top mount
Pink STI injectors
Cold air induction kit
Full Decat 2.5 inch
SAGE fuel rail conversion
top mount HARD PIPE
Samco induction hose

3 port boost solenoid

Hope fully some lightened pulley wheels will be ready by then
There will also be a lightened flywheel fitted with the box (PPG)

And of course a remap.

What do you reckon guys.

Cookie - have you bought the bits or are they just what you fancy ?
(Was thinking about Hybrid TD04 or VF35).

They allow the mapper to control boost better above 1.3 bar. Took this from another thread:

https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...boost+solenoid

Post 15 and 16.

Oooo what do we win if we guess correctly ?

My guess is erm... 329bhp / 290 lb/ft
Depending on the mapper/dyno of course lol.

Can't see mention of brake upgrade or handling mods so next quiz is how long you stay on the road before venturing off through the hedge. My guess for that is 295miles from mods being completed lol (not as I wish you or your motor any harm m8 !)

Reckon you'll be wanting to add a 3 port boost solenoid to that list mate.

My Classic with VF35 and similar supporting mods made 319bhp and 316lbs ft when mapped by Bob Rawle. You have a new age car (which typically make slightly more power IIRC) and a turbo that gives a bit more at the top end.

If the car's a good un and mapped by someone with Bob's skill, I'd anticipate around 340bhp 330ft lbs

Will be a quick car!

BTW Not that'd I question the wisdom of money spent on braking and suspension upgrades, but don't for one minute think that a Scooby with std suspension and brakes with decent pads can't cope with this power! It's not exactly a bad set up as std despite what some would try and have you believe!! My classic is fine at the above power levels on stock suspension and brakes. It would be better with some upgrades though, which I will be doing next!

Wink

Def go for a 3 port solenoid, its so much better than oe bleed for spool (well, was on my motor anyway) - get mapper like Bob to do his magic and away you go...

I'd say 340/330 on a nice/cool day.

3 port solenoid is on the shopping list

Eibachs are arriving Wedensday

Already have solid rear drop links and intend to have solid fronts fitted at the same time a geometry set up is done shortly after spring fitting

Oh and brakes please read https://www.scoobynet.com/essex-scoo...kits-here.html
