Default how do u know if ecu needs resetting/ experienced knock?

basically as title says, im quite worried as car was o rr yesterday and is down 2.5psi of boost, and guy driving said he felt the car wasnt running right, also figures ranged from 240 bhp to 296 bhp over 5 runs

Had similar due to crap fuel instead of 360 was struggling to pull 340 without knocking. Try a bottle of millars octane booster and see if this helps the car run better. Even with V-power I now add a bottle when going for a hard sustained run just to be safe, at £5 a bottle it's worth it. You could visit your local dealer and ask if they could reset it, I did get diagnostics free at my local dealer.

disconnect the battery for about 10 mins, will do the same job
