Default Boost

Hi all! I have a my00 uk Turbo. I was wondering if I could turn the boost up with a Dawes device or something similar without any other mods. Anyone know what the safe boost level is without having to play about with fuelling etc? Forgot to mention it also has PFR7 spark plugs, I do have a boost guage to set up a boost device. Any ideas....Cheers if anyone knows!

IIRC the fuel cut hits in around 17.5 psi (ish). When I had a standard MY99 and had a dawes on it I had peak boost around 16.5 psi without any problems (and it made a big difference to the car).

Richard.
