Default K&N cleaning

do I need to get the K&N brand stuff or is there owt else on teh market (what exactly is IN the cleaner?)

course then I need oil too....thoughts?

You can get a cleaning kit off ebay for about a tenner, so there's not a lot of point shopping around IMHO. I used some muc-off as well to get the filter clean, left it in the airing cupboard overnight, then re-oiled.

There are recommendations Here about the amount of oil to use, and it isn't a lot!

Halfords do some for 9.99, the cleaner and the oil to reuse.

I went to my local Halfrauds..they hadnt got any..they said the next local one did....I didnt believe them.....they said that about the ICE I wanted.....20 miles rountrip later - they hadnt

looks like Ebay won this time
