does the heat shield from the turbo really make that much difference. as my wrx my95 did not have one when i bought it.

Seeing as the Turbo is close to being situated directly under the Intercooler the slightest bit of protection to reduce heat soak with a Top Mount is a good thing.

I'd leave it in to keep your Intercooler temps down.

Yes it makes a difference. Best to keep the heat shield on and even better you could lag the turbo and still put the heat shield on.

where is the best place to buy heat wrap and is it difficult to fit.
