Default HELP OIL AND OLD FILTER ///////////////////

HI EVERY ONE IM GOING TO DO A OIL CHANGE ON MY 1995 STI TYPE RA I WOULD LIKE TO NO WHATS THE BEST OIL AND OIL FILTER TO GET. IVE BEEN TOLD TO GO TO MAIN DEALER FOR THE OIL FILTER IS THIS THE BEST ONE TO HAVE OR DOES IT NOT MAKE A DIFFERENT I WAS JUST WOUNDERING WHAT EVERY ONE ELSE USES THANKS GAV

i use a standard subaru filter from a dealer (dont use a patterern one) and use 10w60 castrol oil.

dealer filter and 5/40w fully synth Ams-oil.

Everyone says something different about oil (I personally use Motul 10w40 fully synth) but everyone agrees that a standard Subaru oil filter from the dealer is best.
