CAN ANYONE HELP??
Hi, im quite new to the site as internet access was limited until now!
Anyway ive got a 94wrx, and its started developing a problem! When im just crusing at 70-80mph then put my foot down to pass something i get quite a BIG kick back then it will accelerate as it should. This dosnt happen every time just may be 3-4 times a week, but is slowly getting more often!. Also it may kick back 2 or 3 times one after another before pulling away as you would expect.
I hope someone out there can help as i cant figure out what it is and dont want to do any damage to my car whilst still driving it on a daily basis.
The car is pritty standard apart from a blitz blow off valve and complete exhaust system.
cheers guys and thanks in advance for any help and advise given!!

Could be ignition coils mine did it before and found out 3 of the coils had cracks in the plastic.
Replaced them with secondhand ones (about £60-100 for 4) and it cured iit.
However the car is doing it again so i think i need to replace them again, comes from buying secondhand :-(
I may be totally wrong though as i'm not too mechanically minded.
You can take them off and have a llok for cracks though before you buy.
Hope it helps
