Lightbulb boost setup questions for mappers

Trying to reset the boost on my stocky wrx to

1. reduce highway fuel mileage on low throttle
2. reduce the on/off switch effect at very low throttle
3. increase boost modulation control at higher throttle openings

To achieve this (1) and (2), I have

A. Reduced wastegate duty at low throttle down to 0 at below 2400rpms
B. Reduced wastegate duty at low throttle at revs above 3600 to only 25%

To achieve (3) above, I have

C. Unflatten the Target Boost tables at higher revs against throttle position
eg at 4400rpms, against throttle position 12%-100%, it goes in absolute bar
0.65 1.05 1.39 1.60 1.78 1.88 1.95 2.05
maxxing out at 2.05 bar absolute being my target at WOT

2 Questions....

Any warning points to watch out for which I may have missed ? Should I rebuild the Wastegate duty for the higher rev ranges to be a gradual increase with respect throttle position ?

I know these are pretty long winded questions, wouldn't mind hearing some thoughts from mappers. Stock standard WRX MY04 Aus, no engine mods with exception of Apexi drop in panel filter
