I have a M(99 WRX Import, the 280bhp version, and as much as I luv it, and its power compared to my last uk turbo, I just keep reading about the difference made by having it rempped by andy f or bob r!

I am getting my Scooby World afterburner vortex full decat system fitted next week + my panel filter, and there my only mods to date bar a very healthy 50k engine. Is it worth me getting a map with just these mods?

Will it make much of a difference to the power? As it feels mighty quick as it is. What bhp could I expect to be putting out with a remap on my mods?

Sorry for all the questions chaps, relatively new to tis game and just being cautious and I dont wana do any damamge

ps does anyone also know what turbo is fitted to a MY99WRX Import? and what bhp there good for before an upgrade is advised?

Yes if you can afford it, I am sure they can squeeze a couple more hp. alternatively you could put the money towards further mods it’s really down to what you have planned for the car.

 

id like to see 320bhp altho im not that fussed, ive read its better to have a car thats mapped for the roads than for the greater bhp on paper thing...

its just im about to have my fll vortex decat system fitted next week an im worried about the bad effects it could have running it un re-mapped with the system for a month or two... am i better to not have it fitted yet?
