What parts to buy? Head Gasket etc.
My head has gone on my 95 Impreza Import wrx.
What is the best or a good head gasket for it, what other parts will I need? I also intend to change thermostat and should I change water pump?

also dont forget to get your head skimmed.
i havent heard of any ppl changing the waterpumps on scooby, but the oil pump is always a good one to change. Graham goode (do a google to find them) do one which has been modified and some little valve thing is alot less likely to jam, defo a good investment.
the is also some oil seals at the front of the cams, they are worth changing and the cam covers, manifold gaskets (inlet and outlet)
hope that helps

I've just bought a Cometic head gasket which are highly rated and well priced from Flatlander which seem to be the cheapest place around for parts. ARC thermostat is what I'm using as opens earlier than the standard item and helps to lower engine temps. I also know Zerosports do a simular thermostat.
