Default MAF sensor on a classic

right ive got a 94 import wrx, just wondered where the maf sensor is on it, and where to get one from? and roughly how much, the car has poor idling sometimes so going to check the maf sensor. cheers

MAF = Mass Air Flow sensor, its the tubular thing with a green sticker on it just before the airbox mate

where is best to get one from if needed matey? and roughly how much?

well ive just tried it, started the car let it run a couple of mins then unplugged it and the car cut out so i think the maf is ok, but when its cold i hav a slight misfire sometimes it goes away when its warm, could be spark plugs?

mine done that once,, it wos a coil pack arking out..

You are on the right track, just keep ruling things out.
