MY95 heater problem
Hi people, need some help, can you get behind the heater controls without removing the whole dash? the heater position switch isn't working properly, it turns but doesn't move the position of the heater so its stuck on blowing on the window, any advice?
Cheers

Hi Mike,
You dont need to remove the whole dash but you will need to get yourself into a position so that you can look under/side of the heater matrix. I cannot remember which side servo controls the positioning (ie feet, windscreen etc).
The main heater matrix unit behind the radio.
There should be 1 grey type servo under the heater matrix unit on the passenger side.
The other is on the side of the heater matrix unit but on the drivers side. You will need to remove the plastic trim under the steering to get a better view of this servo's.
First check if the metal rods are still attached to the servo, maybe 1 has come off. If not try adjusting the switches/dial to see if the servo works.
You will get the idea which does what when adjusting each dial to see which servo moves.
I had a similar problem & it turn out to be a faulty servo, just double check nothing is blocking its operation.
