Default Revolution exhausts

Hi everybody Merry Xmas!

Has anybody got any experience with Revolution Exhaust systems seem reasonably priced and claim good power/torque gains.Has anybody got one of these fitted?

I've got 1 it's very nice, good build quality, nice noise but not offensive (except when you accelerate hard).
Can't comment on the power/torque gains as when i had my car r/r it didn't produce lot more power but car is old (93wrx) and i'm sure with a few replacement bits it would be easy to see a decent gain in power/torque.

Quiet enough. Good power gains (apparently, not had mine RRd yet). Slash cut on the new age is not a nice finish on the backbox though.

I'll vouch for them yes, got mine 3 years ago, producing 261/230 now with full system and a panel filter. It really does work as well as they claim... Plus you get full boost by around 2500rpm and it sounds awesome on full chat

Cheers guys, sounds good need to keep my options open was going for a afterburner but apparently they are very loud, if im going to do some track days I need to keep an eye on noise limits

Would anybody say the revolution system would pass a noise test?

I have two cars with the Revolution fitted and have fitted numerous other cars with the Revolution.
In the cabin it is relatively quiet, not too loud outside but always gives good power figures.

Afterburner might not, it's loud.
Revolution should.

£300 (ish ) is for cat-back, add downpipe price to that. (£350 wrapped at H&S)

I noticed the biggest difference when i put the downpipe on too, better midrange and turbo starts spooling around 1700rpm, up to full boost not much later than 2500rpm....

Revolution get my vote!! I got 347/305 on my 98 2litre with a H&S downpipe, Magnex resonated centre and Scorpion back box (and other supporting mods of course ) but felt that it should be more. After discussing it with AndyF, who mapped the car, I checked the exhaust closely and found that the back box was only 2"ID.. I fitted a Revolution cat back 3" system and got 385/340 Can't say any more than that other than that I had an Afterburner at one time and took it off after 3 weeks due to the (for me)unbearable racket it made - whatever turns you on

Brilliant! All sounds good, seems like this is a good starter for my 300BHP project.
Your BHP figure sounds pretty impressive RAYMONDH, is your car a STI or UK TURBO? Also has it normal internals or forged goodies??

I had a revo system as already said it is quiet.....very quiet but seemed to perform well.I swapped it for the blitz in the end as it sounded too standard for my liking

i matched an RCMS downpipe to my Revo system, (only 200 quid and you can wrap it yourself with out any problem) and it also works very well, i would also consider some of Harveys ported headers and one of his option 2 up pipes as well

Milltek for me - good power/good build quality and fit and a nice exhaust note. Not too loud either as wanted to keep it sociable and pass noise tests for tracks.

Mine recorded 105.7db at Snetterton on Sunday on the drive by test.
