Bought one of these today, installed as per manual and all that happend was that the function buttons glowed orange? without meaning to sound stupid is this supposed to happen? If its a problem does anyone know what it is and how to recitfy said issue?

Its either faulty or you have wired it incorrectly and fried something.

When functioning properly apexi avcr logo should light up on the screen and then turn to your settings.
