Default Tuning a uk classic

What are the best power gains I can get from my uk turbo?

I've already got a exhaust and induction kit

What do you mean "best"

Best in terms of overall power gains, price or reliability.

I'm in the process of fitting a VF35 with apexi power FC, along with STI 8 intercooler fuel pump, 3 port boost solenoid and exhaust.

Come and see me at the carbrook meet on monday and we can have a chat.

Depends on how much power you want?

If you would be happy with 270-280, then assuming you have changed the full exhaust a remap will see you at this level for £500+vat.

If you want 300-330+ bhp, then you will need to also swap the turbo and uprate the fuel pump. Oh and probably the clutch also.

I have 273/273 on my UK Turbo MY00 - plenty quick enough for me, have a look at post #106:

Hi,

If its any use, i have an MY98 with full revolution exhaust and panel filter, using v-power its making 261/230 on the dyno. (yes it hasn't been mapped!!!), running at 1.1 bar, taking it back to have the boost upped to under 1.25 in Jan.
