Default advise needed please.

my car is a 1995 wrx jdm. mods blitz nur spec r, downpipe, hks panel filter, dump valve boost gauge and scoobyecu fitted lastweek.

a few days after the scoobyecu was fitted the car started to fuel cut so i cleaned the maf and boost solenoid out and all was well, but my car is only making 0.9 bar (should be 1.1) lastnight for a few seconds it made 0.5 bar, so i think the boost solenoid is on its way out.

am i right in thinking, if i fit a bleed valve and set it at 1.1 bar there shouldnt be a problem as the scoobyecu has been mapped to this pressure ??

thanks alot

scott

Try resetting the ecu, on those boards the boost needs to built up gradually i think! Sure there self learning! And if youve been booting it soon after putting in the scooby board, it'l of set the parameters wrong making it hit the fuel cut! ESl boards are similar, youre advised to build up the boost slowly on the first tank of fuel so it learns its limits.

do ou have a CEL (check engine light)
.5 bar of boost sounds like limp mode. Do not fit a bleed valve as something is obviously wrong

i did a ecu reset when i fitted the chip, there isnt any fault codes NOW but there was code 24 when i suffered fuel cut. after i cleaned the maf and boost solenoid i checked again for codes and there wasnt any, i then did another reset and the cel light flashed the all clear.the car is running fine now but with only 0.9 bar. the company who i got it off thinks the maf is on its way out. would you recommend a uprated fuel pump ??
