Default Injectors, is this overkill?

eBay.co.uk: * * 650cc Fuel Injectors Sard 00-06 Subaru Impreza * * (item 250061055846 end time 23-Dec-06 19:06:17 GMT)

Mods would be on a 02WRX

TD05 16g
Full decat
Induction kit
Harvy ported headers
STI8 Top mount
Uprated fuel pump
Re-map

Was let down on a set of pinks, so have bee trawling. and these came up.

Would these be too much or does it not matter?

Id go for STI pinks still mate.

Would also be worth buying an adjustable fuel pressure regulator such as a fual lab, sard, aeromotive etc.

dont bother with a reg the oem one is good enough, im still using it with 800s and its fine.

The 650s are a little more than you need for that setup but its not "overkill" as such, just means they wont be working anywhere near 100% duty.

Does allow for fitting a hoooge turbo later mind

Post up a 'Wanted' post. Usually does the trick.

I was looking at plugs today, I havent changed them for 20k + miles

So thinking of having them changed at the same time as all the other stuff.

How much did you get rushed for the pinkies

£72 + PP, another set went for a tad over £90 a couple of night's ago. Have just been reading latest jap perform mag where they tested intercoolers on a blob wrx, and they commented on he fact the oe standard under bonnet cowling may need changing to suit a bigger topmount.

£72

If yopu see any others for that price please let me know, I was expecting to pay around £150 - 200

I will try to get the undertray from Bug STI I think this will help, although I would like to go the fron mount route sometime next year

Cool

On my type R 2.35 build... we ended up using a Cossie FPR... Now its all run in nicely... hopefully over the christmas holidays I can finally get my 800cc injectors fitted and the map tweaked to get all the power out of it...
My mapper still ain't sure if he's gonna be able to get it to run right with running GEMS... But Andy Forrester did supply the injectors and has said to run big boost with the turbo etc I had off him... the 800's are needed...?

I think your a step or two ahead of what Cookstar + myself are looking to achive, and i don't think Andy would of supplied you with 800's if he did'nt feel you needed them for your target power aim. Wot sort of figure's are you chasing?
