sti 4 tuning?
Hi all, just after a bit of advice, I have a 1998 sti 4 that has had the engine fully rebuilt just over 20,000 miles ago by api and is running sweet with a ninja sports cat, blitz nur spec exhaust, haywood scott up pipe, ggr induction kit shielded with a cold air feed and remapped with pfc for optimax/v power. I have not had it on the rollers so I have no idea as to the power but now would like a bit more but not sure what to do next. The car is my every day driver so nothing too radical, just a nice increase for the road. Any ideas would be great!

Thanks for your reply. So your car has differant headers, fuel pump and regulater, front mount intercooler and larger injectors over mine and what would you say would be the difference in power? I was told mine should be around 315bhp don't know how true that would be?

With 1.3 bar mapped through the rev range you should see 330-350 hp and 320-330lbft of torque...

Thanks for your replies guys i am a little confused though, MartynJ was you predicting my bhp etc or scoobytc car? as on another thread Daone has a sti6 with a 255fuel pump, fmic over my spec and people have suggested 550cc injectors and a TD05 18g for a predicted 380bhp! is scoobytc td05/06 20g turbo bigger again? if so why the low power compared to the 18g wouldn't mind 380bhp tho: norty:

my car was mapped on the road not the rollers so it doesnt get anywhere boost target on the rolling road. The car is mapped at 1.45bar but only makes between 1.1 and 1.2 bar on the rollers which is the reason for the low figures. On the road its probably nearer the 380 mark as it holds 1.45bar all the way to the red line in every gear
