Hey everyone. My warranty runs out on my 2004 wrx in a month or so and the car is totally standard. I now fancy getting a new backbox to have the proper sound effects for my car. I have taken a liking the the ninja backbox from scoobyworld and i was just wanting the backbox alone not the whole system. Will it cause any problems to the engine at all in the future and will it fit onto the rest of my standard exhuast system?

Only i think i heard something somewhere about making something run hotter with a different exhaust ?

Just changing the back box alone would be fine I would have thought, i.e now running problems or ECU changes.

Only when you've removed the cats a re-map would be helpfull.

 

When i started to play about with mine i swapped the backbox there were no issues at all with it only when i decatted the car fully did it then need a remap to feel the benifits and also keep the engine running sweet
