Whats the best? That question could open a can of worms and SN could be responsibile for starting WW3 if certain suppliers/mappers see it

I myself would go for a motec M800 Pro as first choice.

why do you feel you need aftermarket would be my question.....standard ecu is more than up to the task.

The MD turbo can make a huge amount of power with the right mods and mapping, the ecutek remap is good but poss aftermarket ecu's can provide better performance without stressing the std ecu..
Motec seem to be good, but not sure which model to go for but expect to pay £££..
Would be good to see who is running aftermarket ecu's on a newage..and what power area they are in..

I'd suggest that the standard ECU with ecutek is capable of handling pretty much as good as standard 01wrx gearbox etc can take. If you're aiming to use all the power power of the MD321, don't expect the clutch, gearbox, or probably even the standard engine internals to hold together for very long.

There's a school of thought suggesting that if you're going after the sort of power that would provide, you'd be better trading to an STi rather than a WRX before you start modding. Obviously, if you're already well down the mods route, that isn't appropriate.
