Default why the different prices

i need a new samco y pipe not the whole set but cant find them on there own, so can someone tell me why these sets are different prices but for the same year car, i have a 97 uk and require the 3 piece turbo set but the sti ver 3/4 are also a 97 but have 4 pipes but are cheaper than the uk set, are they the same y pipe if so why should i pay more for the same set

The Samcos for the non-STi v4 (I've got a MY98 WRX) comprise a single complex hose from the turbo to the dual intercooler inlets, a tube for the throttle body and a bend for the dump valve. Because of the metal Y-piece under the STi intercooler, they will always have more pipes in a Samco set.

BUT, they are much easier and cheaper to make because they are basic straights and bends IIRC. Hence the STi 4 piece set is cheaper than a 3 piece WRX/Turbo 2000 set, but arguably the 3 piece Samco set flows better too.
