cleaning out the boost solenoid pipes noticed that the restrictor in the tube from the bottom of the solenoid to the actuator is missing,car seems fine boosts ok, but would like to increase the boost slightly,does anyone know the dimensions of the said restrictor and hole size ? so i can make one in machine shop,is it correct the bigger the hole the more boost ? model in question 95 wrx import. cheers mark

 

Missing restrictor on an MY95 will give more boost or at least a boost spike, as you will be bleeding more air away from the Actuator.
If you have or if you do fit a decat it may spike too high and induce fuel cut.

I think the MY95 restrictor has a 2mm hole in it.
