When I use hard acceleration I get smoke from my exhaust but how do I work out where the fault lies, turbo/engine, the car drives perfectly but it is using oil,it's a 2.5 lump with a 20g tdo5/06.and decat exhaust.
any ideas.
cheers.

What colour is the smoke? How much oil per 1,000miles is it using?

I think on 22B (may be an old thread) that it says that some 2.5 use a lot of oil, and others use none. Maybe try a search on here as well to see if that brings anything up

I can't really tell the colour but it's using a good litre to a litre and a half at least per 1000 miles I'll have to get someone to stay behind me and let me know the colour.
