scoobyboard ecu
I never understand it when people say the ScoobyECU boards arn't mappable. Their as mappable as an ECUTEK ECU just that an ECUTEK is done by connecting direct to the car, whereas a ScoobyECU needs the chip removing from it's socket and re-blowing.
Both methods do a complete reflash/reprogram of the chip contents each time, rather then a live parameter by parameter change as per Apexi PFC.
The ECUTEK software does give you more diagnostics feedback, but a wideband and a set of detcans do just as good a job and rely more on the mappers abilities/knowledge rather then the software interperting what the ECU is seeing. To a degree the ECUTEK software does the mapping itself, in that it tells you what needs changing wrt to ignition timing etc....

Even if they were OTP (One Time Programmable), new re-programable ones are only about £12 each.
P.S thanks for deleting your 1st post....it now looks like I'm ranting about nothing LOL !!!!
