Default P1 ECU V's MY00 Standard ECU

Hey Guys,

Am I right in thinking the P1 ECU is a ProDrive Spec ECU and therefore would be of benfit to my MY00 Impreza instead of the standard ECU, or have I got this **** about face

Also can someone tell me the differneces in the 2. Also is it a straight plug and play as far as Immobiliser/Remote codes etc are concerned.

Regards & thanks

Chris

think it would be better to get your stock ecu reflash to suit your mod since your is a 2000 model

No.. the P1 engine is different to the standard UK engine.. therefore has different rev limit, fuelling and ignition etc.. you will just break the UK engine..

The P1 ecu is not plug and play as the crank and cam sensor wiring needs swapping. The P1 ecu is basically an STi5 ecu.
