Default Headlamps for MY98. Morrettes or Crystal?

What are the better ones to go for. Not really looking at style, its for quality of lighting.

Morrettes - originals not those angle eye crap

Original Subaru Crystal lights from MY99-00

Aftermarket Crystal light.

The original Subaru crystal light would probably look the best imho, as the morette does not use a crytal lamp and look a bit dated.
If the fitment of aftermarket crystal sidelights and indicators is anything to go by, then i would not bother with aftermarket headlights and go for the original Subaru part.

Well, i have, and would go for the Morrettes, if it's lighting power you want, then you won't go far wrong with four bulbs worth of light on full beam, and if you still need more, then you can still fit Hid to them aswell.......
I run 100/80's in the outer lights, and 100's in the inners for full beam only...... oh, and just for good measure, 130's in the Cibies spot lamps......

Some awesome roads down there by you

I have the HID P1 driving lights too, havent tried them all yet, but hope it should be like daylight

Agreed that two lights can be good, the copy lights off ebay aren't a match for a proper set of twin lights

Wink

IMHO, the crystal lights LOOK nice, but are the same crap designed lens/reflector as the ones befrore them. they put light everywhere except where it's needed

I have Morettes on mine, and Hella 1000FF HID driving lamps. It's like daylight on full beam. The Morettes have GE Megalights 60% uprated H4's in them, but I haven't uprated the inner main beams as H2's can cause probs in higher wattages
