Very true

It will also need an uprated fuel pump with it being an STI

You will need to go to the original mapper of your new ECU if you wanted it mapped on the cheap. Anybody else will be "locked out" because the map is the intelectual property of the original mapper.

New mapper will have to start from new so it might not work out any cheaper.

Shaun

I'd try Andy Forrest

Even the original mapper can't read the map back, it's only because he mapped the ECU originally he should still have the ROM image that it was flashed with.

And it's going in a different car anyway, so even the original mapper would start again with a more suitable base map, if it does have a license then he should save at least £150+VAT.

Did the ECU come from another STi?

Cotton Competition - Cotcomp Home Did my remap (and cylinder head work), knows his scoobs.

ScoobyTeknix - Home Not been yet, but highly recommended

Both companies get good recommendations on LADS ( LADS :: Index ), but neither answer emails particularly quickly so give em a bell.
