Hi all,
Just got my94 uk turbo back with a new decat exhaust hks induction with custom airbox,uprated intercooler,modified breathers,knock link and afr gauge running 1.25 bar boost holding.My problem is the car is running rich still when you put your foot down, fine on idle.Was told early subarus run really rich this is on standard pump and injectors still any ideas grateful

 

Are you looking at your AFR gauge to come to the conclusion its running rich?

 

yeah y is that wrong

 

It will show green when planting your foot down, thats normal, it should then start to rise and fall on steady cruise, its when it goes red when planting your foot that you've got trouble

They run richer than their owners!!

Get it checked by someone with a wideband AFR is you're concerned.

Do you have a knocklink? Is it showing any activity?

I do have a knocklink with no activity i just thought i would be losing power by running rich
