Default Idle speed control valve

Anyone know if the idle speed control valve for the Phase 1.5 engine (My97/MY98) is the same as for the earlier engines?

Someone is offering me one for my MY98 STi Type R, but it's from a MY96 car.

Thanks

David

I think theres a difference in the angle that the pipe to the air intake runs. The 97/98 runs along the top of the inlet manifold and the 96's under the manifold. If in doubt though can they send a picture for confirmation?

They are different - The phase1 has a green part number sticker, and the phase 1.5 has a yellow sticker
