Will equal length headers quieten my car on idle
I have a full decal H&S system with 5 inch b/b, but am now getting some serious complaints from g/f neighbours.
Will equal length jobbies sort this out just on idle and creep.
And how loud are they on full revs
Car = 02 WRX

it will not sound like a subaru....more like pure loud race machine.... you ever heard a pro rally car..... like that.... im not a fan unless you have a twin-scroll set up, then you need them but it is worth the powwa!!!!!

think rally car.... plus your catless... and i believe they have to have 1 high flow cat(becaust they have to be moderatley street legal) so it will be louder than now...... id say just find a new g/f... buy seriously.... maybe just get a high flow muffler from the axle-back.... not one of those coffee-can jobs.... one with actual baffles in it... that will quiet it until WOT (wide open throttle) and will give minimum backpressure

I have slightly un-equal length headers on my MY03 WRX, they do not quiten the car down on tickover but the burble was less, BUT it is still as loud imho.
From my experience so far, that would not help you at all.
The best bet for you seems to be the exhaust bung. And far far cheaper too.
I forgot to say, once on WOT and up the revs, **** does it sound nice!
I dunno how to explain it, I ain't sure about all the superbike comments about the sound, but bloody hell i love it.
And for me the best bit of all is at motorway speeds and cruising, i have lost all that droning that i had with my Ninja BB.
So all in all, i love it now, it sounds awesome but NOT as a noise reducer in any way.
Just my honest opinion.
