Default ABS control unit

Background - ABS warning light on constantly, all sensors checked. Dealer advises new ABS control unit needed.

£820...f**k that i tells him. got one from gradeA (TOP SERVICE)

fitting it tomorrow as looks simple... quesiton is.. do i disconect battery first? ??

Mine is doing the same, but everything works well. Be interested how you get on. I think i would dis the battery.

£60 plus VAT & DELIVERY, came to something like £82.

820 -> 82. maybe the dealer just got the decimal point in the wrong place.

NA..originally quoted me £1100... £82 was for second hand unit.
