Advantage and disadvantage 2.0L vs 2.5L STI engine
Hi,
Next season I have major plans for the engine of my STI 05 and I have some thoughts. I know that the knowledge is here on the Scoobynet therefore a question like this would be real good here.
I want a lot of hosepower, say maybe around 500-550 reliable horsepower. Is a 2.5 litre engine a must? Or is it possible with a 2.0 litre engine?
Vendors in the UK that supplies aftermarket internals for the 2.0 litre STI engine? I have looked a little bit on cosworth internals just like the Type 25 has. Also how do I made the standard block "bulletproof". I know that RCM has built a few high power 2.0 litre STI:s, but I don´t know what they did to the engine to hold for that sort of power.
A last question. Who supplies aftermarket oil cooler kits it the UK?
Best Regards
Johan

Johan:
go straight to the DRIVETRAIN section of Snet!
ALL you need to know is running at the moment on 2 cracking threads, 2.5 and 2.33. Search.
The king of tuning parts supply must be Mark at Lateral Performance who's name repeats and repeats!
Graham.
