Default Speedo Conversion

I have a Jap import (1995) that has been converted to MPH but I am exporting it back to Australia with me when I leave here. Does anyone know whats involved in converting the speedo back to KMPH?
Thanks
Benno

OK looks like I may have found the answer to my question.

It looks like they just fit a converter device to make it read MPH, I am assuming if I remove the converter device and insert the original cable into the gearbox it will read in kmph.

Can anyone confirm this?

thanks

Yes if you remove the convertor device from the speedo cable it will read in KM/H again.
