Which exhaust give best results

Which exhaust give best results
Would a de-cat downpipe or a de-cat centre section give the best performance gain, and would it still pass the mot test. Also would it be better to fit a sports cat as the only one?

My 01 passed MOT well within limits with centre cat removed and just downpipe and up-pipe left on.
Now have a sport cat downpipe to put on and will be decatting the up-pipe at same time, if this fails I dont think its too hard to get hold of a cat centre to stick on at MOT time.

if you have a newage wrx remove cat in upipe and 3rd cat after down pipe
if sti newage remove 3rd cat
sports cat downpipe makes abig difference but it would be best ro get car mapped to suit

funkyspider I have the TSLThundercat downpipe on mine, and had it on for a good 18 months before my first MOT this year in May. It passed no problems, and that was the new type MOT as well.
I never saw any figures for the emissions, but i got my MOT so i aint fussed TBH. lol.
