What gear should an STi type R/RA be run in on RR

Default What gear should an STi type R/RA be run in on RR
JUst curious as i did a little road test the other day and noted that in 3rd gear it didnt reach target boost but in 4th it did.I also know that a lot of rolling road operatives tend to run the 5 speed box in 3rd.So my question is what gear should the short ratio 5 speed boxes be run in or does it not matter on RR

4th is preffered by most I think.

My car will definitley hit boost target in 4th, but not always in 3rd.

(5 speed box on classic)
